SYNOPSIS
At the core of this film collage is the artist’s search for the face of her deceased twin brother, who died without leaving behind any photographic record. Paradoxically his absence is rendered perceptible through a profusion of images. An indirect portrait as the confirmation of an existence.

DIRECTOR’S BIO
Eva Giolo (b.1991) is a musician and audio visual artist. She completed her musical education at the Institute of Contemporary Music in London and later, turning her attention to video, studied media art at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Giolo explores the relationship between loss, time and memories. Recent screening and exhibition include, Rotterdam International Film Festival (2017); Blaa Galleri, Copenhagen (2017); Hommage Bozar, Brussels (2016); Courtisane Film Festival, Ghent (2016); Unfold Braam Gallery, Brussels (2015); OFFoff cinema, Ghent (2015); Nu nog Croxhapox, Ghent (2015); Mu Ishibiki Gallery, Kanazawa (2014); In Out Film Festival, Gdansk (2014). Giolo currently lives and works in Brussels.
